We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Diesel Specialist

Our diesel specialists diagnose, repair and maintain our customers’ diesel-powered vehicles. Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing diesel engines and identifying mechanical and electrical malfunctions
  • Conducting maintenance and inspections to locate upcoming issues
  • Compliance with industry and safety regulations
  • Perform complex repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and some gas-powered vehicles
  • Using diagnostic equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance
  • Meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  • Keeping accurate records, including parts used and labour hours
  • Remain up-to-date with certifications and new technology
  • Interact professionally with customers
  • Explain repairs to customers, including showing the customers photos of their vehicles
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team or independently
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, including parts and tools

You can be an apprentice or have your 310s or 310t license. You must also have a valid driver’s license and at least three years of diesel experience.

As a customer service agent, you are often the go-to person who ensures customers have a seamless experience when bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repair. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Greet customers in a warm and professional manner
  • Listen to customer inquiries and needs
  • Provide helpful information to the customer
  • Schedule appointments for vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Work with the service team to ensure you give the customer the correct information for the completion of repairs
  • Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle repairs
  • Provide cost estimates for parts and labour
  • Upsell additional services and repairs
  • Address customer complaints
  • Maintain detailed records of customer appointments, service history, and other interactions
  • Process customer payments
  • Keep up with trends in the automotive industry
  • Filing, data entry, and inventory management
  • Contribute to keeping the office and shop clean

You must have a valid and clean driver’s license, experience in customer service, communication skills, a basic knowledge of vehicles, vehicle repair and maintenance, and problem-solving skills.

You should also have computer skills, the ability to understand our customers’ needs, handle a fast-paced environment, and excellent time-management skills. You will be required to take a NAPA Management / Office course that we pay for.
